Well, it has been a while, but I figure it is about time to start up another blog. The first one was a bit of a flop; didn’t really have much content to work with, and while the project I was working on ( a home cluster using a bunch of old Pentium II and III machines ) was interesting, implementation caused some severe problems.
That said, I think I now have enough material to start up a few articles. I have a few areas I wish to focus on, for now.
- Computers — specifically Linux and open source software. This is not merely because I agree with the philosophy of free software, but also because I am a frugal bastard. Go figure.
- Books — I read way too much for my own good. I’ll try reviewing anything I find interesting.
- Anime and Manga — Once again falling into the geek mold, I’ll also be reviewing any decent anime or manga I find. I’ve read and watched enough that I think I can sort out the diamonds in the rough.
